The Heart of our Work

#LoveMySchool Every Day

The idea behind #LoveMySchoolDay was to tell the world about the great things that we are doing every day.  We had lots of great feedback and positive comments from parents and the community.  My hope is that you don't stop with just one day in a year to brag on your school.  You have the list of students who can be on social media and the web.  You can post great things happening in your classroom any day that they happen.  Posting your classroom on the web promotes transparency and the innovation that occurs every day in your classroom.  I hope that you will continue to brag on your kids, your fellow colleagues and your school.  It does everyone good to hear what you are proud of at Gilmer Elementary.

Celebrate our Growth

This is a short week, and we are pushing this out quick.  Thank you to everyone for all that you are doing to prepare your kids to be successful students.
